For private listening, connect headphones with a 3.5mm
connector to the socket on the right hand side of the
machine.
The radio speaker will then be muted so that all sound is
diverted through the headphones.
IMPORTANT: BEFORE PUTTING THE HEADPHONES
ON ALWAYS CHECK THE VOLUME LEVEL. YOU CAN
DAMAGE YOUR HEARING WITH PROLONGED
LISTENING AT HIGH VOLUME.
The display backlight will come on when any button is
pressed.
To conserve energy it will automatically go off after 12
seconds.

Unplug the radio and remove the batteries.

Wipe the body with a soft cloth. Never use abrasives,
liquids, aerosol cleaners, brushes or scouring pads.

For fast and easy cleaning with just water, use a micro
fibre cloth. Available from various retail outlets, these
cloths will clean all grease and dirt without smearing.

This radio must not be immersed in water or cleaned
with a water jet.
