7.  FULL SERVICE

A full service should be carried out in the following cases:

• 

Interval for a full service has elapsed (annually or after 200 operating hours)

• 

Replacement of a component due to a malfunction that requires complete disassembly of the 

seat post. See also 

“5. Trouble Shooting” on page 

14.

7.1  REMOVING THE SEAT POST

Preparatory Steps

Make sure that the seat post is in the extended position. If not, extend the seat post by pressing the 

remote lever.
Clean the seat post

Check all functions of the seat post.

 

If malfunctions occur, observe the information in the table in chap. “5. Trouble Shooting” on page 

14

DISMANTLE SADDLE AND SEAT CLAMP

1. 

Unscrew both saddle clamp bolts.

2. 

Pull the saddle upwards with the upper seat 

clamp.

3. 

Remove the barrel nuts from the upper seat 

clamp.

REMOVE THE REMOTE LEVER FROM THE HANDLEBARS.

1. 

Using a 3 mm hex key loosen the fixing screw 

on the clamp, open the clamp and remove the 

remote lever from the handlebars.
