3. Placement Issues. If you place the camera too high
and don

t angle it down enough (or angle it down too
much), then that might be why it ’ s not taking pictures.
4. Perform a self-test by either walking or wave in the
cameras detection area for several minutes. Then view
the SD card to see if the camera took pictures. If it does
not, that the camera is bad.
5. If camera take day pictures but fails to take night
pictures. Check the IR flash: Place the camera in a dark
room or cupboard, it must be dark enough for the
camera
’ s light sensor to think that it ’ s nighttime, press
SHOT to shoot in TEST mode to see if there is a flash, If
it does not, that the camera IR flash is bad.
Photos Did Not Capture any Subjects of
Interest
1. Check the PIR sensitivity parameter setting. In warm
environmental conditions, set the PIR sensor sensitivity
to "High". In cold weather use, set the PIR sensor
sensitivity to "Low".
2. Try to set up your device in an area where no heat
sources are in the camera's field of view.
