The PowerStroll is suitable for most wheelchairs with a
seat width of 40 cm – 50 cm.
The PowerStroll can be used with the HD telescopic
bar (article number: 960000043 -
photo 9
) also for seat
widths from 38 cm to approx. 70 cm.
Battery
Insert the battery into the battery compartment, as pictu-
red. Then push the battery forward until it visibly snaps
into place (

).
Connection
Connect the spiral cable
of the power unit to the
display (
photo 12
) and
place the blue loop of the
relief strap around the
push handle opposite the
manual control.
Use
Manual control
To switch the PowerStroll
on or off, push the on or
off switch (

). Please be
aware that it takes a mo-
ment after switching on
the PowerStroll until it is
ready for use. Wait 2 se-
conds before operating
the throttle lever (
photo

).
The direction of travel can be adjusted by pushing the
arrow buttons (
1+6
).
The max. speed can be preset by pressing the rabbit
(fast) and turtle (slow) buttons (
3+4
).
The battery display (

) shows how much capacity is still
available. If the battery is fully charged, all LEDs in the
battery display are lit; as the capacity of the battery de-
creases, one LED goes out gradually from right to left. If
there is a problem with the PowerStroll, the display fla-
shes. This may mean:
• Single flash – battery weak. Charge battery.
• 7 flashes – throttle lever.
• Release the throttle lever and restart the PowerSt-
roll. In the case of another flash sequence, restart the
PowerStroll.
If this does not correct the problem, contact your Drive
Medical dealer.
Maximum speed
Always set a maximum speed at which the assistant can
maintain a comfortable pace.
Throttle lever
To start moving with the
PowerStroll pushing aid,
squeeze the throttle lever
(

). The harder the
throttle lever is squeezed,
the faster the pushing aid
moves. To stop the Power-
Stroll, release the throttle
lever. The direction of tra-
vel is adjusted using the
forwards or backwards
button (
photo 13
