Attention:
Always make sure that the leg support is correctly inser-
ted and clicked into place before use.
Assembly and disassembly of the
24“ rear wheels
The 24” rear wheels of the transport wheelchair can be
easily removed for transport or storage.
To do this, hold the frame
of the transport wheelchair
with one hand while hol-
ding the center of the
wheel with the other hand.
Press the pin in the middle
inwards and at the same
time, pull the hub away
from the wheel.
To reattach the wheels,
perform these steps in reverse order
(pic. 6)

The 12.5” wheels can be removed only with a tool.
Attention:
Before use, check that the wheel is securely mounted by
pulling on the wheel and ensuring that it does not move
laterally.
Parking brake
The transport wheelchair comes with two parking brakes
which may only be used when the chair is standing still.
To operate the parking brakes, press the brake handle
down as shown in the photo
(pic. 7 )

To release the parking brakes, pull the brake handles
back up.

Operating the tilting aid
To maneuver around
curbstones and over
thresholds step firmly (with
the left or right foot) on the
tilt aid

while simul-
taneously pushing down
the handles. This ensures
that lifting the front of the
wheelchair is easier. En-
sure that you are standing
securely.
Use in a vehicle
The wheelchair user must sit in a regular vehicle seat and
the transport wheelchair must be securely stowed. The
transport wheelchair was not designed for use as a seat
in a motor vehicle; failure to observe the above instruc-
tions can lead to injuries.
Cleaning | Maintenance
• Clean regularly with a moist cloth!
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents!
• Do not use abrasive cleaners!
• Do not use any high-dose chlorine and vinegar-based
cleaners!
• To disinfect, a spray disinfectant can be used such as
Descosept AF or Bacillol AF.
• Check the screws regularly and tighten, if necessary.
• The product should not be exposed to temperatures
above 60°C for long periods of time (for example, use
in a sauna, etc.).
• In the event of defects, contact your specialist dealer
from whom you purchased this product.
• Check the condition of the tires regularly. They are “fail-
safe”, meaning that you do not have to check air pres-
sure or fill them with air. Always check the tires for tears
or other damage, however.
