Alarm Priorities*
HIGH-PRIORITY ALARMS:

Report alarm conditions that can be life-threatening and re-
quire immediate intervention; for example, asystole.

Affected parameter box and alarm message field have red
background and an audible alarm* sounds when active.

High-priority alarms are latched, meaning audible and visual
alarms continue until the alarm is acknowledged, even if the
alarm condition has ceased to exist.

To acknowledge, select the Bed Audio Pause button in the
menu bar of the BedView page or in the icon in the Viewport:
MEDIUM-PRIORITY ALARMS:

Report alarm conditions that require prompt attention but
may not be life-threatening; for example, an alarm limit viola-
tion.

Affected parameter box & alarm message field have a yellow
background and an audible alarm* sounds when active.

Medium-priority alarms are non-latched, meaning if the condi-
tion clears itself, the audio and visual flashing alarm signal
stops but a status message will remain in the header bar.

To acknowledge and/or clear the status message select the
Bed Audio Pause button in the menu bar of the BedView page
or the icon in the Viewport:
