Explanation of type-identifying marking and
symbols
The type identification mark is located on the packaging or the
individual components.
The marking on the sticker in fire helmet has the following
meaning:
WARNING
When the fire helmets are used with other personal
protective equipment or accessories that are not
approved for these helmets, approvals may become
null and void. The helmet must therefore not be
modified or fitted with third-party components.
Individual parts may only be replaced if the
replacement parts are of identical type to the individual
parts of the type-tested helmet or have been
specifically approved by Dräger for use as
replacement parts. Incorrect or third-party internal
helmet components, the drilling of new holes for
accessories or other modifications to the fire helmet
adversely affect the protective function and invalidate
the approval.
