. The Real-Time Clock adds a time-date stamp to SNMP traps
The NetGuardian also features a real-time clock. Each time an alarm occurs, a time-date stamp will be included in
the SNMP trap. Also, the NetGuardian 216 clock will remember the current date and time settings if you need to
reboot. You can configure the clock from the T/NG216 Turn-up and Test Mode, Date/Time screen manually or by
clicking on the Sync With Local PC button.
To set the real-time clock, follow these steps:
1. Choose the Date/Time tab.
2. Click Sync With Local PC, to sync NetGuardian 216 time with your PC date and time.
3. To manually update NetGuardian 216 settings, use the drop-down menus to select the Date, Time, and Day of
Week.
4. Click Update Date/Time to save the settings.

To latch a relay, click the Latch button. The relay's green display rectangle will turn red and read Latched, and the
Latch button will change to a Release button.
To unlatch a relay, click the Release button.
To momentarily latch a relay, click the Mom button. The relay will latch for 600 msec, then unlatch.
