Enter descriptions for each alarm in the Editor Mode, System Alarms tab. You can also choose Yes or No to set
SNMP traps (default trap setting is Yes).

To monitor your Internal System Alarms via T/NG216 you must enter a description in the System Alarms tab in
the Editor Mode. To configure your System Alarms do the following:
1. In the Editor Mode click on the System Alarms tab.
2. Type the descriptions of your System Alarms in the Description box — see Figure 5.18.
3. Choose Yes or No to set SNMP traps (default trap setting is Yes).
Note
: In the Alarm Channel Off mode you will be able to view the descriptions of your system alarms, but you
will not be able to send traps.
