With one hand at belt
path push and pull the
child restraint from side
to side, forward and
back. If vehicle belt does
not loosen the child
restraint should be
secure.
If vehicle belt loosens,
repeat all steps. Check
seat belt use in your
vehicle owner’s manual
and review the “Locking
Clip Installation” section

the tether anchor in
your vehicle and pull on
loose end to tighten.

Place one knee in the
child restraint and push
down while pulling on
vehicle belt to tighten.
Place child restraint flush
against the back of the
vehicle seat forward-
facing in the back seat.
Thread vehicle belt
through the forward facing
belt path. Buckle.

forward facing position,
the child restraint
MUST be used in the
upright position.

reach under the seat and
rotate the recline stand
