d Enter a non-existing phone number
(such as "0") in the " 電話番号 (Phone
Number)" field ▶ Check that "FOMA
L03C" is displayed for " 接続方法
(Connection Method)" ▶ Click [OK]
• If multiple modem names are displayed in the
" 接続方法 (Connection Method)" field, check the
FOMA terminal modem name and select the proper
one. → P8
e Click [ キャンセル (Cancel)] on the Connection screen
The Hyper Terminal entry screen appears.
f Enter an access point (APN) in the
following format . Press
AT+CGDCONT=<cid>,"<PDP type>","<APN>"
Enter the following information in the corresponding
<cid>, <PDP type>, and <APN> sections.
If "OK" appears after you enter the information, the
access point (APN) has been setup.
cid ：Enter any number from 5 to 11.
* Note that the old setting information will be overwritten if you select a cid number
which has already been set.
PDP type ：Select either PPP or IP for the connection method supported by the access point, and
then enter the information enclosed with quotation marks " ".
APN ：Enter the access point (APN) enclosed with quotation marks " ".
• If the entered characters do not appear, enter ATE1 .
■ To reset the access point (APN) settings of the specified cid
Enter AT+CGDCONT=<cid> .
■ To view the registered access point (APN)
Enter AT+CGDCONT? .
g Click " ファイル (File)" . " ハイパーターミナルの終了 (Exit Hyper Terminal)"

Click [ はい (Yes)] on the confirmation to disconnect screen . Click [ いいえ
(No)] on the confirmation to save screen
Hyper Terminal will quit, and the setting of the APN completes.
Note
• The access point (APN) information is saved on the FOMA terminal. If you connect a different
FOMA terminal, register the access point (APN) information again.
• If you want to use the access point (APN) information saved on the PC, register the same
access point (APN) to the same cid on the FOMA terminal.
