Checking the FOMA terminal COM port number
The modem name or COM port (communication port)
number of the FOMA terminal may be required if you set
up communication without using the DOCOMO Connection
Manager. This section explains how to check them from
the Device Manager screen.

Connect the FOMA terminal and a PC
• Connecting → P5

Perform Steps 1 and 2 described in "Checking the
Installed L-03C Communication Setting Files (Driver)"

Click " モデム (Modems)" ▶ Select "FOMA L03C" ▶
From the menu bar, click [ 操作 (Action)] ▶ [ プロパティ
(Properties)] ▶ Click the " モデム (Modems)" tab
The FOMA terminal COM port number appears on the
right side of " ポート : (Port:)".
Checking the device icon
When the driver is installed correctly, the device icon
is also installed. This section explains how to check
whether the L-03C icon is displayed correctly.
• The device icon function is unavailable for Windows XP
and Windows Vista.

Connect the FOMA terminal and a PC
When the PC recognizes the FOMA terminal, a popup
appears and the driver is installed.
• Connecting → P5
• Connect the FOMA terminal to a PC with the FOMA
terminal turned on.

Click " スタート (Start)" . " デバイスとプリンター
(Device and Printer)"
The device and printer information of the PC appears.
Check whether the device information and the device
icon of the FOMA terminal are displayed correctly.
