Unplugging

To unplug the external connector of the FOMA USB Cable for data communication (trial), pull it

Unplug the FOMA USB Cable for data communication from the USB port of the PC (

Note

•  Do not unplug the FOMA USB Cable for data communication during data communication because 

doing so will cause communication to be cut off , or an operation failure or data loss.

•  Do not connect FOMA USB Cable for data communication to the connector by sheer strength. 

Doing so may result in malfunction. The connectors must be inserted with the correct orientation 
and angle.With correct orientation and angle, the connectors can be plugged smoothly without 
requiring excessive force. If you cannot connect the cable easily, do not use excessive force. 
Check the orientation, angle and shape of the connectors again.

•  Do not apply excessive force to disconnect the FOMA USB Cable for data communication. Using 

excessive force may result in malfunction.

Cautions when Installing/Uninstalling

Keep the following in mind when installing or uninstalling L-03C communication setting files 
(Driver) or DOCOMO Connection Manager.

•  Make sure to install or uninstall the software from a user account with the administrator privileges. 

An error will occur if you attempt to install or uninstall them from an account without administrator 
privileges. For settings and operations regarding PC administrator privileges, contact your PC 
manufacturer or Microsoft Corporation.

•  Before you install or uninstall the software, check that no other software is running. Quit any running 

software before installing or uninstalling.

If the " ユーザーアカウント制御 (User Account Control)" screen appears, click [ はい (Yes)]. For settings 
and operations regarding PC administrator privileges, contact your PC manufacturer or Microsoft 
Corporation.

For Windows Vista

If the " ユ ー ザ ー ア カ ウ ン ト 制 御 (User Account Control)" screen appears, click [ 許 可 (Permit)] or [ 続
行 (Continue)], or enter the password, then click [OK]. For settings and operations regarding PC
