Turning power ON/OFF

When the power is ON for the first time, make initial settings (P. 40).

Cancel the screen lock
For canceling the screen lock, see “Canceling the screen lock” (P. 22).

It may take 1 minute or more to display the Home screen after the power is
ON.

When the terminal does not respond even if
T
is pressed, charging may
not be enough. Fully charge and retry operating.
·
When the screen lock is set to “Touch”, the notification panel can be
displayed on the lock screen.
Turning power OFF

You can restart the terminal or set Airplane mode (P. 65) or Silent
mode (P. 71).

If there is no response from the terminal after pressing and holding

you can press

for at least 10 seconds to force-restart the terminal.
Canceling Sleep mode
When no operation is performed for certain period of time, the display is
automatically turned off and the terminal turns into Sleep mode. To
cancel Sleep mode, press
T
.
