1. Functionality
The digital microscope with its high magnification factor is used for easy examination
or handling of very small or fine objects, e.g. for examinations in biology, precision
mechanics, or electronics. The integrated object illumination and polariser enable a
uniformly illuminated, glare-free observation field.
Images can be displayed on the large 12.7 cm colour screen, an external monitor or a
computer, or stored on a microSD memory card. It is possible to record single images
or video sequences in a resolution of choice.
Recordings can be played back either via the internal screen or via USB on a computer,
or via HDMI cable or FBAS (jack/cinch cable) on a monitor or TV.
The device is powered by an internal, non-replaceable LiIon battery, which is charged
via a USB port.
Image analysis on a PC is carried out with a dedicated image processing software that
allows partial remote control of the microscope as well as storage, precise analysis,
and image processing, e.g. by commenting on the created images.
