rear Panel
The rear panel of ProFusion XS has a variety of connections that are used to integrate it with your existing am-
plification equipment and Ethernet network.
Power Cord input 1.
ProFusion XS operates on AC power.
Note: Never attempt to operate your ProFusion XS on DC power.
Ethernet Port 2.
The Ethernet port is used to connect ProFusion XS to your network in order to receive configuration, con-
tent and software updates.
Serial Port 3.
The serial port is used as a RS-232 serial communications interface that allows ProFusion XS to be con-
trolled by external equipment providing the ability to change styles on desired zones. See Direct Serial
Interface (DSI) (p. 23) for additional information.
Music Zone audio Connectors 4.
These connections are standard RCA jacks used to connect ProFusion XS to your amplification equipment.
Serial number 5.
This unique number is used to identify your ProFusion XS.
