2.1 SETTING UP THE COMPLETE PRESSURE MYOGRAPH SYSTEM
Figure 2.1 is an example of a complete set-up for the Pressure Myograph System. The overview includes
optional equipment such as a peristaltic pump to enable superfusion flow and pH probes for measuring
pH in the superfusion buffer. In addition, the overview also includes the DMT Flowmeter - 162FM. The
Flowmeter enables flow measurements in the range of 15-4000μl/min. A detailed step-by-step description
is provided in the remaining sections of chapter 2.
The Pressure Myograph System will work with a range of different microscopes: the DMT Microscope,
