8 Troubleshooting
The cleaning robot
does not move in a
straight line in ‘dust-
ing’ mode, despite
an open space.
You have selected the wrong mode.
Switch the appliance off and back on and select the ‘dusting’ mode
(

The cleaning panel or floor cloth is not attached properly. The floor cloth
might be creased.
Switch off the appliance and reattach the floor cloth and cleaning panel,

that it is flat on the cleaning panel and that the cleaning panel’s holes
are not covered.
One of the wheels may be being hindered from turning by dirt.
Remove dirt from the wheel. If required, carefully use scissors or twee-
zers,

The floor is uneven.
The best cleaning results can be obtained on flat, hard floors, such as:
parquet, laminate or other flat wooden floors
PVC, linoleum, vinyl and the like
tiles, stone floors and the like where the joints are not too deep
The wheels of the
cleaning robot spin
in ‘washing’ mode.
You might have put too much cleaning agent in the water tank, meaning
the wheels have no purchase on the film of liquid.
Adjust the ratio of cleaning agent to water by adding pure water,

. Next time use less
cleaning agent in the first place.
You want to use sev-
eral control cubes,
but the robot is only
using the first one
The signals of the different control cubes do not overlap. This is either
because they were set up too far apart (> 8 m) or obstacles are blocking
the signals.
Set up the cubes to that each cube is in the range of another one (dis-
tance apart < 8 m and no obstacles).
You want to use sev-
eral control cubes
efficiently, but the
robot cleans large
areas several times.
You have set up several control cubes on the same transmission fre-
quency.
When erecting the control cubes ensure that, alongside the basis cube
supplied as standard (4261 marking on the underside), only cubes with
different markings (e.g. 4262, 4263 or 4264) are set up. Also see the de-
scription on
