 Remove the start cup nut with a suitable bar [1].

 Remove the left crankcase cover [3].   

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

NOTE

 

Be careful not to drop the dowel pins into the crankcase. 

NOTE

 

Place a clean rag under the piston so as not to drop the piston pin
