DS7A - Constant Current Stimulator
Connection of DS7A to an EMG System
The following section shows the leads necessary to connect the DS7A to the some EMG Systems.
If your system is not shown please advise us and we will aim to add it to the document.
Introduction
To record responses evoked by the stimulation produced by the DS7A Stimulator, a EMG recording system is
required.
This EMG recording system must be synchronised to the DS7A so that the recording starts at the same time
of the stimulus.
This is done by the trigger connection cable.
Modes
There are two basic modes of trigger synchronisation -

DS7A triggers the EMG system.
Uses the DS7A Trigger-Out socket to transmit the trigger signal to the EMG system.

The EMG system triggers the DS7A.
Uses the DS7A Trigger-In socket to receive a trigger signal from the EMG system.

NOTE - If the DS7A front panel Trigger button or foot switch is pressed, a stimulus will be presented without
triggering the EP system.
