Do this...
If the repeater does not turn
on in either slot 7 or 8, check
those slots with another known
good module. If the known good
module powers up, and the
repeater does not, the repeater is
defective.
Replace the repeater.
The network activity
LED is off.
The repeater or any other unit
in the DEChub 90 may not be
connected to an active segment.
Connect a known active
segment to any unit in
the DEChub 90. Look for
an indication of network
activity on any unit in the
DEChub 90.
If the repeater is connected to a
known active segment and the
network activity LED is off, the
repeater is defective.
Replace the repeater. (See
the following port 0 status
section.)
The port 0 status LED
is off.
Port 0 may be segmented or the
LED may be defective.
Remove all front panel
fiber port connections.
Power the repeater off and
on by reseating the unit in
the DEChub 90. Ensure
that the port 0 status LED
lights and remains on.
If the port 0 status LED does not
light and remain on
Plug the repeater into
another slot in the
DEChub 90. If possible,
choose a known good slot.
If the port 0 status LED does not
light and remain on
Replace the repeater.
If the port 0 status LED does
light and remain on, there is a
problem with the DEChub 90.
See the troubleshooting
