5.10 How to Read Bar Codes
Perform the following steps to read a bar code.
1. Check to make sure the bar code scanner light is active.
2. Bring the bar code to the scanner to be read.
3. Place the scanner light at the center of the bar code and wait for the scanner to pick up the data

4. You may have to move the scanner light up and down the bar code to get a reading.
