Shutting down the System

NOTE

Current transactions

A transaction that is still running (for example, payment to a customer) is completed be-
fore the system is completely shut down.

Gain access to the external control unit ("see
chapter "Description, section "System over-
view").

Press the "On / Off" button on the external
control unit (see chapter External control
unit).

The "System LED" goes off as soon as the
system has been shut down.

NOTE! System shutdown may take a few sec-
onds depending on operating system and run-
ning transactions.
