3.4.1 Recycling Module, Generation Four Vertical (RM4V) Lower Module
Overview
The lower module of the Recycling Module, Generation Four Vertical (RM4V) is a recycling module for
bank notes integrated into the system.
The RM4V lower module ( Figure 3-19 ) deposits media into cassettes and dispenses media to the con-
sumer after the network or controller processes a consumer's request. During the deposit cycle the sys-
tem denominates, validates, counts and stores the media in the recycle cassettes. The media is drawn
from the cassettes and transported to the system's withdrawal area. If the media is too mutilated or
crumpled to dispense, or if a multiple pick occurs, the RM4V sends the media to the All-In cassette.
