Chapter 7 BIOS Setup

Super I/O

This section configures the system super I/O chip parameters.

COM Port 1 to COM Port 5

Enable or disable the serial port (COM).

Device Settings

It shows the IO/IRQ settings for the COM port.

COM Type

(only available for Serial Port 1 and 3)

Configure the serial port mode. The settings are RS232, RS422 and RS485 for COM

Port 1, and RS232 and CC-TALK for COM Port 3.

WDT

Enable or disable the watchdog function (default: diabled). A counter will appear if

you select to enable WDT. Input any value between 1 and 255 (seconds).

PC Health Status

This section displays PC health status.
