After you have replaced the batteries you can operate the
compact alarm system with the factory-setting 11 for the
user code only. Change the user code as described above.
The control unit gives a warning as soon as the current from the
batteries becomes too weak. At intervals of approx. 20 seconds
the control unit emits a pip sound and the LED
E
flashes.
In this event replace all the batteries with new ones 1. V
type LR6 (mignon / AA, alkaline). Otherwise false alarms may
be triggered.
Reset function
After you have replaced the batteries you can operate the

Maintenance and cleaning

Make sure that the compact alarm system is deactivated
before carrying out maintenance and cleaning work.

Check the technical safety and operation of the device
on a regular basis.

Remove the batteries during long periods of non - use.

Use a fluff-free cloth and a mild agent (no solvents) to
clean the plastic surfaces.
Disposal
Dispose of packaging materials, exhausted batteries and worn
out devices at a local authority approved disposal facility.
In accordance with European Directive 2002 / 96 / EC (cover-
ing waste electrical and electronic equipment) and its trans-
position into national legislation, worn out electrical devices
must be collected separately and taken for environmentally
compatible recycling. Take out the batteries before you dispose
of electrical devices. As the end user you have a duty to
recycle or properly dispose of your used batteries. Batteries
must not be disposed of with the household refuse.
