Inserting and Removing the Battery Pack
from the Tool (Fig. B)
WARNING: Do not work with unlatched battery door.
Prevent water entering into the battery compartment.
nOTE: Make sure your battery pack 24 is fully charged.
To Install the Battery Pack into the Tool
1. Unlatch and open the battery door 4 .
2. To install the battery pack

into the tool, align the
battery pack with the rails inside the tool and slide it in
until the battery pack is firmly seated. Ensure that it does
not disengage.
3. Close the battery door and ensure it is closed securely.
To Remove the Battery Pack from the Tool
1. Unlatch and open the battery door.
2. Press the release button
16 and firmly pull the battery pack
out of the tool.
3. Insert it into the charger as described in
Charging a Battery
.
Do not leave the battery door open.
