LUBRICATION AND PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE INTERVALS

Make a visual check of all lubricating
oil lines for wear and/or cha

ng. If

any indication of wear is evident,
replace the oil lines and correct the
cause.

Check for oil leaks after starting the
engine.

Item 11 – Fuel Filter

Fuel Filter and Strainer

If equipped, drain the fuel/water
separator daily.

See Figure 17 for a typical fuel

lter

and strainer installation. Replace the
fuel

lter and clean the strainer at the

intervals listed in the maintenance
tables or every other oil change. For
change intervals, refer to Maintenance
Intervals. For change procedure,
refer to section Replace Fuel Filter
and Strainer.
