Channel Details Screen
The Channel Details screen is used to view or change information directly related to a sensor. The Channel
Details screen displays the sensor’s description, the current reading, the gas type & units, the channel’s on/off
status, the life of the sensor, the range of the sensor, the analog output status, the device type, the sensor status,
the alarm values and the bank(s) the alarms are associated with. Refer to Section 7.0 Controller Setup for the
proper setup and configuration of sensors connected to the controller.
NOTE:
The ‘Sensor Life’ field is applicable for 100, 600D and 700 Series sensors. This field
is not applicable for other device types and the field will display ‘N/A’.
In order to make changes to certain values on the Channel Details screen, the user must be logged in to the
MCX-32. To log in, select the ‘LOG ON’ button at the bottom of the screen which will display the USER
LOGON screen. Select the asterisks field and enter a valid password. Once logged in, changes to certain
fields can be made by simply touching the field requiring the change.
NOTE:
The user must be logged in to the MCX-32 in order to make changes to fields in the
Channel Details screen.
6.3 System Configuration Screen
Pressing the ‘MENU’ button will display the System Configuration screen when logged in.
