Function of the board
The HAC board is integrated in the workstation via CAN and is used for
controlling the brushless dental motors (BL and BL-ISO-S) and for light
control of the turbines.
● Reading in the hose coding
● Controls the rotating field dependent on the rotor position transmitted
by the motor.
● Controls the torque limitation during therapies
● Supply for instrument light (halogen or LED).
● Controls the sensorless and sensor motors

of the boot process (approximately 60 seconds)
If the board remains in the bootloader after this:
● No launch command has been received from the
download manager, as the software is not consistent
● There is no connection to the HSA.
