9.4 Setting the Bowden wire in the motorized headrest

Setting the Bowden wire

1. Slacken the locking screw (A) and hold the Bowden wire (B) tight 

using pliers.

2. Turn the tripping lever (C) until it covers the hole above the 

adjustment aid (D).

3. Pull the Bowden wire (B) out until the compression spring (E) is lightly 

pretensioned and the buckling bar (G) protrudes around 2mm out of 

the eccentric lever (F).

4. Fix the Bowden wire (B) in position using the locking screw (A).

IMPORTANT

Make sure that there is no visible gap between the bracket (H) and the 

counterpiece.
