General instructions

This user manual relates to drum lifters Model FW-D and FW-DX.
It contains all the information needed regarding correct set-up, trouble-free operation, maintenance, and
disposal. The notices and instructions in this user manual must be carefully followed and adhered to.
If the instructions are strictly followed in accordance with the user manual, we accept liability within the
scope of our guarantee conditions.
We reserve the right to make technical changes to the illustrations and details in the user manual in order
to improve the product.
Keep this user manual in a safe place. It is intended to be used in a practical way and should be available
to the user in the place where the equipment is used.
No changes, extensions or modifications may be made to the product without the manufacturer's authori-
sation. No liability is accepted for changes made without the manufacturer's authorisation and in such
cases the warranty will cease to be valid.
Intended use of the equipment

Drum lifter Model FW-D is suitable for lifting, transporting and turning 205 litre ribbed steel drums.
Drum lifter Model FW-DX with safety clamp is also suitable for 220 litre plastic L ring drums.
The drum lifter should be used exclusively within the performance parameters listed in 4 “Technische Da-
tena”.

The drums must not be left in a raised position!
Do not move over uneven surfaces!
Do not move over sloping surfaces!
Before every use of the product, it should be checked to ensure it functions correctly. Should any
defects appear, it must not be used.
