Residual risks
The risk analysis performed according to Attachment I of the 2006 / 42 CE Directive has detected the
following residual risks:
•
UNPROTECTED ACCESS : The protective cover guarantees safe use of the machine both for
its intended use and any other reasonably predictable uses, and for the risk of unintentionally
incorrect movements by the operator. Deliberate, voluntary access to the moving elements
cannot however be ruled out and this could represent a hazard that is not justified by any
production needs.

” on page 7 of this
manual.

RISK OF CUTTING : This risk is present during maintenance operations and while placing
the item to be marked if the operator touches the point of the stylus. The operator must therefore
wear adequate personal protection devices and avoid touching the point of the stylus when this
is not necessary.
•
RISK OF SLIPPING : Keeping clean and free of obstacles the access to the machine areas
reduces the risk of slipping.
•
NOISE : The DEV7 marking machine has been designed in such a way as to reduce to a
minimum the sound emissions caused by the movement and drives of the punch. The system is
however used for marking parts whose shape and material may vary considerably and so its
noise emissions therefore also vary.
