Configuring an Existing Storage System
5. Verify that the virtual disks were assigned to the server by
looking at the
Manage Servers
page.
To display the Manage Servers page -
In the Navisphere Express
navigation pane, under
Manage,
click
Servers
.
You should see the virtual disks you assigned to the server listed
in the
Virtual Disks
column of the server’s row.
If you do not see virtual disks, go to the "Troubleshoot" section on
the AX100 support website or the
AX100-Series Documentation
CD.
6. On the Solaris server, scan for the virtual disks:
devfsadm -C
7. Use the
format
command to verify that Solaris recognizes the
virtual disks (LUNs).
If Solaris does not recognizes the virtual disks, reboot the server:
reboot - - -r
8. Configure PowerPath:
/etc/opt/emcpower/powercf -q
powermt config
9. On the server, verify that PowerPath sees all the paths to the
virtual disks with the PowerPath command:
powermt display dev=all
