4.4 Function Control
If
in-phase condition
has been found in every system, a function test of the indication
red blinking light
has to be carried out.
The yellow permanent light indicates the availability.
Contact the test electrode/contact electrode of the phase comparator with the external
conductor
L1
. Contact the test electrode/contact electrode with the external conductor
until
the yellow light
is blinking.
The external conductors
L2
or
L3
have to be contacted within 12 seconds! After
contacting the external conductor, the
red light
must be blinking. If this is the case,
the function control is completed (see Fig. 4.4).
Both systems can be interconnected.
5.
Fault
If the PHV I Phase Comparator cannot be switched on (see 4.2), the batteries have
to be exchanged (see 7). If the phase comparator still cannot be switched on or
mechanical damage can be recognised, please send this device to DEHN + SÖHNE.
6.
Maintenance of the Indicator
The batteries have to be exchanged at least at the maintenance tests.
Recommended battery type: 2 Mignon, Alkali-Mangan, 1.5 V (IEC LR 6 alkaline-
mangenese), leakage-proof (see Fig. 7)
The pase comparator has to be tested on its function every year (procedure in
accordance with 4.2)
