Ensure that the blue sealing ring and the se-
aling surfaces of the enclosure are clean and 
not damaged. The function of the sealing ring 
is to insulate the device and protect it from 
humidity. It must be in good order and con-
dition to meet the required safety standards. 
Only use original sealing rings..

 

Â

Put the two enclosure parts together. The coi-
led cable must not be jammed or twisted.

 

Â

Tighten the threaded ring as far as it will go. 
There may be no gap (see arrow).

 

Â

Check the device according to section 5.

Note

:  Tampering with (except battery replacement) and modification of the phase comparator are not 

permitted. Non-operational or damaged phase comparators must be removed from service.
