4.3  Removing the grey sheath for installing HVI long Conductors in the 

supporting tube 

When installing 

HVI long Conductors

 with additional grey sheath, this grey sheath must be 

removed in the area around the integrated EB spring element. For this purpose, we recommend to use 

the 

DEHNhelix

 stripping tool (Part No. 597 230). Fig. 4 shows the specified measures for the part to 

be stripped to electrically contact the semiconductive special sheath. These measures must be uncon

-

ditionally observed.
