4 Replacing unit components
4.1 Replacing the level switch/safety switch
4.1.1 Replacing the level switch/safety switch on the PH15/PH15A
Required components
Level switch PH15/PH15A (Art.-No.: 2571368)
Safety switch PH15/PH15A (Art.-No.: 1103785)
Replacement
1. Set the PH15/PH15A out of operation and disconnect it from the mains (unplug mains cable).
On units PH15A additionally close the water supply and disconnect the supply line from the
connection of the unit.
2. Remove water carrier/blanking cover.
3. Press the locking mechanism of the unit housing on both sides inward, then lift the housing
carefully upward from the mobile base.
4. Pull float protection cover on both sides apart and remove forward
5. Undo 4 screws of the cable duct cover and remove cable duct cover.
6. Loosen some turns the counter nut of the level switch /safety switch and remove level switch/
safety switch.
7. Disconnect the cable of the level switch/safety switch.
8. Connect the new cable of the level switch/safety switch.
9. Insert the new level switch/safety switch in the corresponding position into the float mounting
support and fix it with the counter nut.
Caution! Make sure the plastic disk of the level switch is placed below the ridge of the support.
10. Assemble unit in reverse order of steps 1 to 5 and put it into in operation.
