Signal indicator
During powerup and startup the LEDs in the signal indicator will show what steps the
connection is in the boot process, from left to right:
Når oppstartsprosessen er ferdig vil indikatorene vise aktuell signalstyrke angitt i
tabellen nedenfor. Oppstart kan ta inntil 2 minutter avhengig av signalstyrken.
Ved normal drift viser signalindikatoren aktuell signalstyrke etter følgende skala:
LED pattern Connection stage
1st LED is blinking green Stage 1: Powering up
1st LED is permanent green and 2nd LED
is blinking green
Stage 2: Loading settings
1st and 2nd LED are permanent green and
3rd LED is blinking green
Stage 3: Connecting to GPRS network
1st, 2nd and 3rd LED are permanent green
and 4th LED is blinking green
Stage 4: Connecting to the DEFA server
Signal indicator Signal strength
1st LED is permanent orange
No signal. One can not assume that
the unit will operate normally
1st LED is permanent green Weak signal strength
1st and 2nd LED are permanent green Average signal strength
1st, 2nd and 3rd LED are
permanent green
Good signal strength
All 4 LEDs are permanent green Full signal strength
