Installing the remote control
4.1
Choice of the location
1. Choose a location in a "reference" room
representative of the
room temperature to be taken into account if the remote control
is used as a room sensor.
Locations in the room that are not recommanded
: Enclosed,
exposed to solar radiation, heated by a flue duct, exposed to
cold or hot air currents from air ducts, close to an open fireplace,
a heat source (television), behind a curtain.
2.
Choose an location which allows good radio reception.
Check that the boiler is switched on.
Reception problems may occur, depending on the
construction materials used in the house (thickness of
walls or floors, type of materials used). It is therefore
necessary to find the optimal location.
To do so:
- Press simultaneously on keys

and PROG

for 5 seconds to
call up the menu
0
which displays the radio reception level and a
figure of
0
to
10
after a few seconds.
- Choose a location for the remote control for which the radio
reception level displayed is higher than
8
.
- Fix the remote control to the choosen location as described after.
- The remote control automatically exits menu
0
after 2 minutes or
when
MODE
is pressed.
A hand may interfere with reception.
