Outside radio-controlled temperature sensor
Each outside temperature sensor is given a unique identification
number in the factory, which enables the transmitter/receiver box to
recognise it. This identification number is transmitted to the
transmitter / receiver box by the pairing sequence described below.
When no remote control or radio-controlled outside
temperature sensor is paired with the transmitter/receiver
module, the light flashes slowly (once per second).
The pairing must be done in the boiler room on first
initialisation.
The outside temperature sensor automatically exits the pairing
mode after 5 minutes. The transmitter/receiver module exits the
pairing mode after 2 minutes.
A DIEMATIC 3 control panel awaits reception of the outside
temperature when the appliance is switched on. This operation
may take up to 3 minutes. If no outside temperature sensor is
connected, an error message is displayed.
To cancel the pairing of all circuits and the outside temperature
sensor, press the push button on the transmitter/receiver box
for 10 seconds (until the light goes off).

Press the button on the transmitter / receiver box using a pen.
The light on the transmitter/receiver box comes on.
Press the button on the outside temperature sensor.
The light on the outside temperature sensor comes on. The
light goes off briefly every 3 seconds when the sensor
transmits the outside temperature to the transmitter/receiver
module.
After a few seconds, the light on the transmitter/receiver box
goes off. The light comes on briefly every 3 seconds to confirm
reception of the outside temperature. To exit this mode, press
the button on the outside temperature sensor.
Status of the warning light on the transmitter/
receiver box
Meaning / Solution
Warning light on at start-up
- Switch the boiler off and switch back on
- If the problem persists, contact the fitter. The transmitter/receiver box is damaged.
The warning light flashes slowly at start-up
- No remote control or outside temperature sensor is paired with the transmitter/receiver
module.
The warning light flashes rapidly
- If rapid flashing does not stop after 10 seconds after switching on, a
CDR2
remote control
is paired with a circuit which is already paired with a
CDI2
(FM51) or
FM52
remote control.
Re-pair the
CDR2
remote control with another circuit or change the
CDI2
(FM51) or
FM52
remote control on the circuit.
Warning light on after the pairing button has
been pressed
- The transmitter/receiver module is in pairing mode with the
CDR2
remote control or an
outside temperature sensor. This mode remains activated for a maximum of 2 minutes.
Z
See previous page.
The warning light is pulsing
- A communication has taken place between the transmitter/receiver module and the
CDR2
remote control or an outside temperature sensor.
