Princípios de funcionamento
A membrana do amortecedor, solicitada pela pulsação do pro-
duto bombeado pela bomba pneumática à jusante, determina a
intervenção automática da válvula pneumática do amortecedor
que, graças a uma câmara produto com capacidade idônea ao
tipo de bomba, é capaz de compensar a variação de preva-
lência e/ou caudal. A frequência e a entidade da prevalência
são auto-reguladas em automático, sem alguma intervenção
ou definição em função das reais necessidades do circuito do
produto, reduzindo assim danosos golpes de aríete e minimi-
zando as vibrações, salvaguardando os aparelhos em linha.
Usos impróprios
ATENÇÃO: qualquer outra utilização dos amorte-
cedores, distinta de quanto anteriormente descrito
e precisado no capítulo “CARACTERÍSTICAS TÉC-
NICAS” será considerada imprópria e portanto proibida
pela empresa Debem.
Especialmente, É PROIBIDO o uso dos amortecedores
EQUAFLUX para:
- o uso com líquidos a serem bombeados quimicamente in-
compatíveis com os materiais de fabricação;
- o uso com produtos em suspensão, cujo peso específico seja
superior ao do líquido (por exemplo, água com areia);
- com pressões pneumáticas, temperaturas e características
do produto em desacordo com os dados técnicos.
Functioning principles
The product pulsation caused by the pneumatic pump moves
the dampener diaphragm which in turn causes the dampener
air valve to step in. A product chamber suitably dimensioned to
the pump type compensates the head and/or delivery changes.
The head frequency and capacity are automatically adjusted
without any intervention or set up according to the actual product
circuit requirements. This reduces dangerous waterhammer
effects and vibration therefore protecting other equipment on
the same line.
Improper use
WARNING: use of a dampeners for any other use
otherthan that previously described IN THE CHAP-
TER EN-TITLED “TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS”
is to be considered improper use of the dampener and is
therefore forbidden by Debem.
In particular, it is FORBIDDEN to use EQUAFLUX dampen-
ers for:
- operation with liquids that are chemically incompatible withthe
materials of construction;
- operation with suspended products whose specific weight
is higher than the liquid’s (for example with water and sand);

ATENÇÃO: face à inúmera variedade de produtos e
composições químicas, o utilizador é considerado
o maior conhecedor das reações e compatibilidade
com os materiais de fabricação do amortecedor. Portanto,
antes do uso, realizar com cuidado todos os controles e
testes necessários para evitar situações perigosas, mesmo
se improváveis, que não podem ser notas e imputáveis
ao fabricante.
ATENÇÃO: o utilizador deve avaliar a relação entre
a máxima temperatura de superfície do amortece-
dor indicada na marcação e a temperatura mínima
de ignição das camadas de poeira e das nuvens de poeira,
assim como indicado na EN 1227-1.
ATENÇÃO: qualquer uso do amortecedor alheio
às instruções indicadas no manual de uso e ma-
nutenção, implicará a decadência dos requisitos
de segurança e tutela contra o perigo de explosão. Foram
analisados os riscos ligados à utilização do amortecedor
nas precisas condições prescritas pelo manual de uso e
manutenção: a análise dos riscos ligados à interface com
outros componentes do sistema é por conta do instalador.
Normativa ATEX: Cabe ao utilizador do aparelho
a responsabilidade de classificação da própria
zona; por outro lado, cabe ao fabricante a identi-
ficação da categoria do aparelho

WARNING: since an endless variety of products
andchemical compositions exist, the user is
presumed tohave the best knowledge of their
reaction and compatibilitywith the materials used to build
the dampener. Therefore,before using the dampener, all
the necessary checks andtests must be performed with
great care to avoid even theslightest risk, an event that
the manufacturer cannotforesee and for which he cannot
be held responsible.
WARNING: the user must evaluate the ratio be-
tweenthe maximum surface temperature of the
dampenerindicated in the marking and the mini-
mum ignition temperature of the layers of powder and the
clouds ofpowder as indicated in the EN1227-1
WARNING. Use of the dampener that does not
complywith the instructions indicated in the use
and mainte-nance manual will cancel the safety and
explosion protectionrequirements. The risks associated
with use of the dampe-ner under the exact conditions set
forth in the use and main-tenance manual have been ana-
lysed, whilst the analysis ofthe risks associated with the
interface with other systemcomponents must be carried
out by the installer.
ATEX: The user is responsible for classifying the
area of use whilst identification of the equipment
category is the responsibility of the manufacturer.
