Partially tighten the
screw into the hole,
leaving about three
threads showing. This
will allow you to adjust
the screw, if necessary,
when the model is
finally complete.

Insert the stub axle
into the larger bearing.

Insert one end of the
driveshaft into the stub
axle and the other into
the cup joint on the
left-hand side of
the differential.

Pass one of the pins
supplied with this stage
(arrowed) through the
holes in the left front
side frame and the
upper arm, connecting
the two parts together.
