For this assembly stage, you will need needle-
nose pliers and all the parts of the servo saver,
except the screw and the inner shaft. You may need
some water pump pliers to compress the spring.

The two main components of the servo saver
are identified by the letters A and B. Combine the
two parts by engaging the V-shaped sections of
their circular parts.
With this stage, you receive the servo saver, which is a key part of your model’s steering
mechanism. The spring absorbs the energy produced by sudden movements of the wheels,
caused by uneven track surfaces and collisions, and so protecting the internal components of
the servo from possible damage.
