The parts supplied with this stage are components for the front suspension. The front upper arm, ball-headed 
screw and locknut are identical to those provided in Stage 4, and the bearings are the same as those supplied 
with Stage 8. All of these parts can be used on either side of the model. The parts supplied with Stage 21 – the 
rear driveshaft, stub axle, drive pin, hexagonal drive washer and flanged nut –aren’t actually specific to the 
rear suspension and so they can also be used on the front wheels. Therefore, in this stage, you can complete 
the suspension for the left front wheel by using a ball-headed screw, locknut and pin, all supplied with this 
stage, plus the upper arm and hub carrier assembly from Stage 4 and the parts from Stage 21. 

Prepare the ball-

headed screw, locknut 

and one of the pins. You 

will also need a 

screwdriver and two 

Allen keys, a 2.5mm 

and a 5mm.
