The parts supplied with this stage are the air filter, its element, which is made of sponge, and
a bottle of air filter oil with which to moisten the sponge. The filter, an important part of your
model, will be fitted to the intake duct of the carburettor. Its oiled sponge element will
prevent particles of dirt from being sucked into the engine.

Place the new parts on a paper towel, as
shown. The towel will soak up any spilt oil.

Apply several drops of oil to the top and bottom
of the sponge fi lter element.
