Place the boiler joint
into the front of the
boiler, aligning the
holes at the sides.
Apply synthetic rubber
adhesive to the inside of the
upper half of the boiler.
Insert the boiler
joint into the rear
of the smokebox.
Tighten the
four screws
removed in
Step 4 into the
holes in the
bottom of the
smokebox.
Apply a small
amount of
synthetic rubber
adhesive to the
end of the water
supply pipe and
insert it into the
hole in the valve.
Adjust the position
of the water supply
pipe so that it is
in front of the two
circled screws.
Tighten two more 2
× 3mm screws into
the two holes on
the other side.
Pass the end of the headlamp
cable through the hole in the top
of the superheater.
Tighten a 2 × 4mm
screw into each of
the four holes in the
bottom of the boiler.
If any synthetic
rubber adhesive
comes through
the seam between
the smokebox and
boiler, remove it
with a toothpick.
Tighten a 2 × 3mm
screw into the two
circled holes.
