7. Setting-up
7.1. First steps
Necessary tools For setting-up you need:
•
mini USB A (5 pin)-USB A cable for infrared interface
•
the infrared interface (DT10)
•
USB driver installer.exe on the CD
•
DT1010_DT1310 V2012-08-31.exe (or latter)
configuration software on the CD
•
PC
Installing the USB driver Before you use the configuration software first time, you
must to install the USB driver. This driver provides the
virtual COM port for configuration software.
Run the \DT1310 (DT10)\USB Driver\USB driver
installer.exe program on CD.
Software Easy to use DT1310.exe configuration software (free of
charge). Simple copy it into an optional folder, click on the
“Start” button and you can configure the instrument.
Setting-up 1. Connect the infrared interface with the USB cable to the
PC USB port.
2. Put the instruments under supply voltage.
3. Start the DT1310.exe configuration program.
4. Select the appropriate serial port.
5. Click on the „Open Serial Port” button.
6. Push the "conf start" button and place opposite the
interface optics and the instruments optics.
7. st. (red) indicator gives light, signing that the instrument
is configuration mode.
8. power (green) indicator signs with a short flash the
successful communication between the program and the
instrument.
9. Use the configuration software as is written on the
following pages.
10. At the end of the settings click on the “Download
settings” button, the new settings are written into the
instrument.
11. Click on the „Disconnect” button for finishing the
configuration procedure.
