12. How to Use TPC-700/TPC-700P’s DVK-400 App to Control the VGB-4000
The TPC-700/TPC-700P is a Touch Panel Controller/PoE Touch Panel Controller for you to control
several Datavideo products remotely. This chapter will show you how to use TPC-700/TPC-700P’s
built-in DVK-400 App to control DVK-400’s three functions including “Lumakey ON/OFF”, “AUX Layer
Swap Front/Back” and “BG Blur ON/OFF”.
12.1 Main interface introduction of the TPC-700/TPC-700P built-in DVK-400 App
Please follow following steps for operating the “Lumakey ON/OFF”, “AUX Layer Swap Front/Back” and
“BG Blur ON/OFF” functions in the DVK-400 App which is built-in in the TPC-700/TPC-700P.
1. At first, please notice that the connection way for the TPC-700/TPC-700P are different.

If you use the TPC-700 and it is controlled by using the RS-232 protocol, please connect an RS-
232 to RJ-45 adapter cable to connect from the RS-232 interface on the rear panel of the VGB-
4000 to the DVIP RJ-45 Ethernet interface which is located on the right side of the TPC-700.
 If you use the TPC-700P, please use an RJ-45 Ethernet cable to connect from the RJ-45 Ethernet
interface on the rear panel of the VGB-4000 to the DVIP RJ-45 Ethernet interface which is located
on the right side of the TPC-700P.
1. At first, please turn on the power of the TPC-700/TPC-700P and then please click the DVK-400 App
icon to enter the main interface “Home” of the DVK-400 App.
