5. Basic Setup
For the basic setup of the Datavideo 4K Pro Presentation System, please see following steps. The
Datavideo VGB-4000 4K Pro Presentation System includes the VGB-4000 main unit, the LBK-1 Look
Back Kit, VP-840 4K HDMI Distribution Amplifier 1x4, FS-220 Foot Switch, MAT-X Green Color Plastic
Mat and Interactive TV.
1. Please use an HDMI cable to connect from the HDMI interface of the 4K camera to the
FOREGROUND HDMI IN interface on the rear panel of the VGB-4000 to be the input source of the
Foreground.
2. Please use an HDMI cable to connect from the HDMI interface of the laptop which is used to play
the background video to the BACKGROUND HDMI IN interface on the rear panel of the VGB-4000 to
be the input source of the Background.
3. Please use an HDMI cable to connect from the HDMI interface of the laptop which is used to make
the Lumakey object to the HDMI IN interface on the rear panel of the VGB-4000 to be the input
source of the AUX Lumakey object.
4. Please use an HDMI cable to connect from the PGM_REC HDMI OUT interface on the rear panel of
the VGB-4000 to the HDMI interface which is located on the LBK-1 Look Back Kit to be the input
source of the monitor for the LBK-1 Look Back Kit.
5. Please use an HDMI cable to connect from the CHROMA HDMI OUT interface on the rear panel of
the VGB-4000 to the HDMI interface of an externally connected large display panel to be the input
source of the PGM output screen.
